Wanda Wilkinson

Thanks for checking out who Wanda is.  I grew up in Platteville, but moved to Madison after college - UW-Platteville, major: Art and minor: Math, yes it is an odd combination.  It was even odder, when I became a computer programmer a few years later, although art and design have always played in the background of my life.

As a professional in the Information Technology arena and as a consultant, I learned to really hear the needs of my clients and work in tandem with them to find and implement the correct solution for them.  The best consultants have excellent communication and analytical skills, are self-motivated, proactive, quality minded, upbeat, and positive.  They can juggle multiple tasks, keep on a timeline, and follow through with the details.  These skills were quite transferable to my next profession - Realtor with Keller Williams. 

I am very excited to be part of the fantastic team at Keller Williams.  When I work with a client, it is not "just" me, I can draw on the combined support and experience from the entire team at Keller Williams.  I have my GRI - Graduate of Realtor Institute, ABR - Accredited Buyer Agent, and have most of the work done for my CRS - Certified Residential Specialist.  I strongly believe in continued training to not only keep up the technology and trends, but also to keep my business focused on what is important to my clients.

I am married - fairly recently. Tim and I met through Mad Town Talls, a member club of Tall Clubs International, women have to be at least 5 ft. 10 in. and men 6 ft. 2 in.  That has been a blast, traveling, and meeting people from all over the country.  Tim has done his share of traveling also, being a veteran of Tug of War, competing all over the world in international competitions. We "honeymooned" on a safari after such competition in South Africa - a true dual-purpose trip. 

We now live in the country outside Monticello, in a house we designed and built.  I have been totally loving living in the country after living in a very small house on a very small lot in Madison.  My latest hobbies consist of taming woods and pastures into gardens and perennial flower beds, and hopefully one day, a prairie.
